NEXT TIME YOU MOVE, here are two tips that should make the next few years a little easier.
First, if you’re planning to change the locks – because you never know who might have an extra set of keys – then change them all to use the same key for all the external doors. Then you’ll only have one key to carry.
Second, if there are any boxes you haven’t unpacked after a year, then throw them away without opening them. There’s nothing in there you need. This is excellent advice, which I have always failed to follow.
